What is the difference between:
diag debug crashlog get
and
diag debug crashlog read
I have been working on diagnosing an strange problem. FortiNet support repeatedly asks for the output of "diag debug crashlog read" however on the affected system the only option is "diag debug crashlog get" and they ignore the output when I provide it.
The diagnosis wiki lists both of these as options but without explanation.
Any idea what the difference is?

Did you ever get the answer to this? I am also struggling with this issue. The diag debug crashlog get is encrypted, and the read option is not available.
On your systems the "read" option will probably not be listed as an option but it WILL work if there is a crashlog to show. So go ahead and type "diag debug crashlog read" even if "diag debug crashlog ?" does not show "read" as an option.
Hello,
Try to see anything with:
#diag debug crashlog read
BR
Bubu
Bubu
read command option could be hidden, it shows up as an option though in 'tree' list command.
option get will show encrypted data
option read will show as readable data
