Description

This article explains ways to investigate system performance issues or slowness in the FortiSOAR application.

Scope All supported versions of FortiSOAR.
Solution

When the application responds slowly, collect the following details to better determine the root cause:

1) Resource usage in the system:

# top

2) Currently running processes:

# ps -aux

3) Disk usage:

# df -h

4) Check the System Health Dashboard in the FortiSOAR GUI.

5) View the list of scheduled Jobs (the number of Jobs running at one time may impact performance).

6) Check playbook execution logs (running multiple playbooks at a time can cause system slowdown).

7) Verify the allocated resources and compare them with the FortiSOAR sizing guide below to ensure they match:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortisoar/7.3.1/sizing-guide/602297/fortisoar-sizing-guide

8) Collect full logs

# csadm log --collect /tmp
