Description | This article describes how to work around an issue where, after a firmware upgrade to 7.2.5, the SD-WAN zone interface is missing from policies and other areas in the FortiGate GUI. |
Scope | FortiGate 7.2.5. |
Solution | A GUI issues occurs in 7.2.5 where the SD-WAN interface zones are shown as missing when editing a policy an existing policy or creating a new one. This also occurs when editing an SD-WAN zone member. To work around this issue, make edits in the CLI instead or create a test SD-WAN interface. To create the SD-WAN from the CLI, use the following commands: config system sdwan config zone edit test end end
This issue has been resolved since FortiOS 7.2.6 and 7.4.1. The cause of this known issue was the SD-WAN GUI incorrectly not requesting the count for the interfaces from the required data variable. The bug ID is 916903, and it can be found in the release notes for FortiOS 7.2.6 under 'Resolved Issues'. |
