Description

This article provides commands that need to be collected from the FortiExtender Command Line Interface to provide more information for the Technical Support team when creating a new ticket.

Scope FortiExtender.
Solution
  • Log in to the FortiExtender Command Line Interface using the PuTTY application..
  • Execute the following commands on the FortiExtender Command Line Interface and attach the output to the ticket:

get system version

get extender status

get modem status

get system status

get modem firmware-version

get system interface

get system app-status

execute ifconfig 

execute log event display

show config

show full

execute modemfw AtTest modem1 AT+CGDCONT#

execute modemfw AtTest modem1 AT+QNWPREFCFG#

 

For FortiExtender communication issues with FortiGate or the Internet, collect the following logs at the time of the issue:

 

execute debug EXTD info on  
execute debug NETD info on
execute debug CONNMGR connection on
execute log event display

 

To collect debug info:

 

execute debuginfo export tftp <filename.tgz> <tftp server ip address>

 

Above mentioned debug file can be collected using the GUI as well. Refer to Collect complete diagnostics information
