Description This article describes how to troubleshoot if FortiAnalyzer does not give the option to download generated reports in PDF format.
Scope FortiAnalyzer.
Solution

A scenario may occur in FortiAnalyzer where there is no option to download generated reports in PDF format:

The following screenshot PDF is visible. However, the PDF format could be missing in column format.

This may be caused by a large number of logs in FortiAnalyzer.

The following setting may be configured to allow FortiAnalyzer to generate PDF even with many logs:

config system report setting

    set max-rpt-pdf-rows 200000

end

Note that the value of 200,000 shown above is only an example. The default value for this setting is 100,000 and it can go to a maximum of 1,000,000:

Troubleshooting:

If the above steps were performed and the issue still persists, proceed with the below command in the FortiAnalyzer CLI:

diagnose system fsck harddisk

This operation will check and repair the file system, then reboot the system.
Do you want to continue? (y/n) y

Note:

This command will reboot the system.

If the PDF format report is still not generated after increasing this value, submit a ticket with TAC for further checking.
