Description
This article describes expected behavior after transfer FortiToken mobile license from unit to unit.
FortiToken run into error(GUI) or unknown (CLI) status after disabled two factor authentication.
FortiToken mobile config is disallowed to transfer from unit to unit. It needs to be re-activate, re-provision(reassign) after transfer license.
Solution
To fix the issue, follow the steps below:
1) Go to User&Device -> User Definition, disabled all users two-factor authentication.
2) Go to User&Device -> FortiTokens, delete all of the FortiToken mobile including “error” or “unknown” status.
3) After deletion of the tokens, click “Create New”, select “Mobile Token”.
4) Re-activate the mobile token using activation code again.
5) Previous deleted tokens will appear in the list again.
