Description

This article describes the course of action that can be taken when faced with the following error while deploying FortiSOAR Cloud:

'Unable to provision the VM instance. Failed to assign instance'.

Scope All FortiSOAR Cloud releases.
Solution

In most cases, this error is caused since FortiSOAR Cloud is yet provisioning the instance in the background.

Give the system 30 minutes to 5 hours for the provisioning to complete.

Do not reboot or take any other action.
Once provisioning is successfully completed, the FortiSOAR Cloud system displays a screen similar to the following:

Select 'Enter' to access the FortiSOAR GUI.
If after 5 hours, there is still getting an error or are unable to log into the FortiSOAR GUI or SSH, reach out to support.
