Description
This article describes how to transfer the DDNS record from old unit to new unit.
Solution
Try to configure the FortiDDNS name that belongs to the old FortiGate in the new one, and it shows 'Domain not available'.
Just open a TAC support ticket and mention ask to release existing FortiDDNS from the old FortiGate by providing the FortiDDNS name and old FortiGate serial number.
Once the confirmation from the TAC engineer is obtained, it is possible to register FortiDDNS on the new FortiGate again.
