Solution |
It is possible to see FortiGate showing its location somewhere in the Gulf of Guinea (0°S, 0°E) on the VPN Location map.
The reason behind this is that the Latitude and Longitude is not set by default on the FortiGate.
It is possible to drag and drop the FortiGate at the correct location on the VPN Location Map and the location will be saved.
To set specific latitude and longitude in the CLI, run the following commands:
config system global
After running the commands, the location should be changed according to the configured Latitude and Longitude:
Note: By running the CLI below, FortiGate can display its location. This information is from FortiGuard regarding the FortiGate WAN IP address.
