Description This article explains how to deploy the VPN configuration in the free version of FortiClient.
Scope Fee version of FortiClient v7.x (Windows).
Solution
  1. Configure SSL-VPN or IPSec on one endpoint.

  1. The registry has the critical information for the operation of Windows and applications installed on it.

    Open Registry Editor, and select Tunnels by following below path:

    Computer -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_SOFTWARE -> Fortinet -> FortiClient -> SSL VPN -> Tunnels.

    Or:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_SOFTWARE -> Fortinet -> FortiClient -> IPSec -> Tunnels.

    Export the subkey of Tunnels and save it to the desktop.
