Description This article describes how to use the command to check the beacon failure on the FortiAP CLI for specific SSIDs. 
Scope FortiAP, Beacon failure, SSID broadcast, Wireless troubleshooting.
Solution
  1. Login to the Forti AP CLI.
  2. Execute the following command:

apstats -v -i <wlan id>

 

  1. 'wlanid' can be identified from the following command output on the FortiAP CLI:

 

iwconfig

 

Example command output:

The 'iwconfig' command output will be as follows:

Note: With fap-tech from the FortiAP CLI, wireless sniffer capture (OTA Capture) needs to be collected for additional troubleshooting.
