Fortinet has released FortiWLC code version 8.4. This release primarily adds support for new models in our FAP-U line of Universal Access Points. Support has also been added for the Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP) which will improve Chromecast discovery. A DNS configuration option is now supported for FortiGate discovery. Finally new certifications have been added for some AP models (for a full listing, please refer to the WLC 8.4 release notes).
