The recent Fortigate devices do not have such sensors. I don' t know, if such a thing is planned for future builds.

    Some new fortinet devices may have CLI command to monitor hardware temperature. For example, new version FortiController-5103B has following CLI command: FT513B3912000023 # diag system board tempature Uid Description Temperature (degree Celsius) --- ----------- ----------- U27 CPU_LC3518 52.0 C J8 DDR_Channel-0 46.8 C J9 DDR_Channel-1 45.2 C U22 ZL6100 42.4 C Q10 ZL6100 38.1 C U28 ZL6100 46.0 C Q54 ZL6100 41.2 C U60 ZL6100 47.8 C U65 ZL6100 44.6 C U117 ZL6005 59.8 C J10 SFP-F1 38.4 C J32 SFP-F8 38.5 C J25 SFP-B1 38.7 C FT513B3912000023 #

yes only the bigger carrier stuff has it. I would pull down the fortigate mibs and thumb thru temp to see what they show.
