Generic DDNS

Hi, Who know hot to use generic ddns setting in fortigate for no-ip.com? I have found the KB say it work but i try it dont work may be i configure wrong. one of the part like call zone what we want to set? Beside no-ip.com who know other ddns is given free and can use generic ddns to configure it? Need you help - urgent. if dyndns we have use quite long time already but now not suitable. we plan to use other ddns with free and if possible use generic ddns setting. thank

Fortigates officially support DDNS services that are listed in the " Server" pull-down tab in the DDNS setting section and other DDNS services that follow RFC2136. The KB (linked below) outlines a typical ddns entry...

I' ve tried to make it work with no-ip.com before, and haven' t had any success. If you read the KB article you will notice that no-ip.com is not listed as " fully RFC2136 compliant" as of August 2012. If you get it to work I' d be curious to see how so please post back. (my solution was to subscribe to one well known DDNS service, to obtain 30 hostnames).
