Explicit proxy or no

Hi experts, I wanted to ask a question, I really bring head.

What are the latest trends on proxies? I've been to several seminars on IT security, and tell me that almost any company using proxies in their organizations with web filtering systems UTM firewalls available next generation, does this not necessary.

What is your recommend using explicit proxy in fortinet or not use it?
