set them Active Passive HA mode.One would expect 1 Firewall to be active

Hi Jesper, we still have not resolved the issue properly.What we did is
place some normal dumb switches between the Fortigates and the rest of
the network. So we don't use the firewalls als switches anymore.
Thanks all for the help. I figured out the problem is not really in HA,
but in the Hardware Switch.We have configured a Hardware Switch with
ports 5, 6, 7 and 8.We thought Active-Passive means 1 firewall works,

And the strange thing is (in my opinion) it doesnt matter to which FW I
connect the Switch. They will both be available and connected. But as
soon as I connect 1 Switch bot both FW's it's goes wrong
