I've got a 60D running 5.6. I'm trying to enable some simple IPS rules
like RDP brute force, FTP brute force, etc. Enabling the IPS on a policy
requires adding SSL Inspection to the same policy. While I don't mind
cert inspection, I don't want to do ...
I have an explicit proxy in the cloud. I want to redirect internal HTTP
traffic from a select few clients to that explicit proxy transparently.
This is possible on Sonicwall, ASAs, Juniper, Checkpoint, etc., but I
cannot find a way to policy route tr...

a Fortinet and I'm struggling with static routes and PBR over an IPsec
tunnel. First, my basic system is working. I have an inbound IPsec
server for users to connect to the Forti...
JFYI, I've somewhat circumvented this by enabling "Mutliple Security
Policies" which now at least allows me to create separate SSL inspection
policies and enable them on each policy accordingly.
They support a feature called HTTP Redirection, it's fairly common. I
work for a proxy manufacturer, so this is more for testing, but it seems
it's not possible with Fortigate. The key point is a lightweight and
easy transparent method. IPSec works, ...
I'm familiar with proxy chaining, I'm actually trying to test
specifically HTTP redirection, I'll just use a different edge device,
but it's good to know I can go that route. Thanks
Disregard, I got it working. I was able to discover my default route
distance by adding some fields to the route monitor. Once I found it was
5 and not 10, I set my tunnel static routes to 5 with higher priority
and viola they showed up as static rou...
