It's not only your issue, but more importantly the reason to upgrade is
to become safe. Several vulnerabilities have been fixed in the versions
after 7.0.1, so not upgrading is not really a wise choice.
I'd try with a recent version instead of such an old version. Then see
if the issue persists.It's also a security risk to use old versions, so
I recommend to use at least version 7.0.10.
I have more or less the same issue with version 6.0.6 but with Kaspersky
as the AntiVirus. 6.0.5 does work fine.
