Description This article describes how to to configure HTTP protocol constraint exceptions.
Scope FortiWeb.
Solution

Prerequisite:

- FortiWeb HTTP Protocol Constraints policy using User Defined policy.

- The server policy is applied with a User Defined HTTP Protocol Constraints policy.

 

1) Navigate to HTTP Protocol Constraints policy page.

2) Edit the created/cloned User Defined HTTP Protocol Constraints policy. Select the Exceptions Name dropdown menu and select Create if no exceptions policy created yet.

3) Insert the name of the HTTP Protocol Constraint Exceptions policy.

4) Select Create New to add a new HTTP Protocol Constraint Exception rule.

Insert Host and URL Pattern if requires matching host domain and URI pattern.

Select the HTTP Constraint policy rules to be excepted.

Enable Source IP and insert the IP addresses if requires matching source IP addresses.

 

Select OK to save the exceptions policy.

5) Select the created Exceptions policy in the User Defined HTTP Protocol Constraints policy.
