Description This article describes that FortiSASE provisioning cannot be completed as the same email address is already in use for an existing EMS Cloud instance.
Scope FortiSASE.
Solution

In provisioning FortiSASE, it is necessary to register the license on the FortiCloud account. Use this account on only one FortiSase instance and it would not be possible to register a Forticlient EMS cloud on this same account.

Accounts with active EMS cloud instances may encounter the below error when provisioning FortiSASE.

'FortiSASE provisioning cannot be completed as the same email address is already in use for an existing EMS Cloud instance'.

To resolve this provisioning error of FortiSASE:

  1. Create a support ticket and request the transfer of the FortiSASE license to another email address to avoid conflict.
  2. To use the current email address, it will be necessary to terminate the Forticlient EMS Cloud subscription on this account. Create a support ticket and request to de-register the existing FortiClient EMS Cloud instance associated with this account. Once termination has been completed, it would be possible to proceed to re-provision the FortiSASE instance.
