DescriptionThe following features are not working properly:
- Persistent Agent credential login window
- Sending messages to the agent from NAC
These features in the Persistent Agent do not work if the computer is unable to resolve localhost.ScopeVersion: N/ASolution
1. Verify if localhost resolves by typing the following command in the command prompt of affected Windows machine:
ping localhost
A reply from 127.0.0.1 or ::1 (depending upon the OS) should appear if resolving properly. If ping fails, then the localhost entry may be missing.
2. If ping fails, ensure the /etc/hosts file on the affected machine contains the localhost entry.
