NTP GUI.png

* Once the NTP Server has been changed in the UI the system will be restarted.
To verify the NTP server reachability and synchronization, use the below CLI command:

FortiNAC_CLI # execute enter-shell
Fortinac_CLI:~$ timedatectl status
Local time: Tue 2024-08-06 11:39:45 CEST
Universal time: Tue 2024-08-06 09:39:45 UTC
RTC time: Tue 2024-08-06 09:39:45
Time zone: Europe/Berlin (CEST, +0200)
System clock synchronized: yes
NTP service: active
RTC in local TZ: no

Verify the NTP Synchronization status:

FortiNAC_CLI:~$ systemctl status systemd-timesyncd
● systemd-timesyncd.service - Network Time Synchronization
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Thu 2024-07-25 15:09:03 CEST; 1 week 4 days ago
