Technical Tip: Restore configuration on FortiGate using revision downloaded from FortiManager

Description	This article describes how to download a revision from FortiManager and restore it directly on FortiGate to revert its configuration to a specific state.
Scope	FortiGate and FortiManager.
Solution	When the FortiGate is connected to FortiManager, it is possible to use the FortiManager operation 'Revert' to load a saved configuration revision to the Device Database and install it back to the device. However, suppose the FGFM tunnel is down and the FortiGate is no longer connected to FortiManager. In that case, it is possible to use the following steps to download a device revision and restore it to FortiGate directly.
