Description
This article explains how to make two FortiMails use different co_ownerid for NAS Server.

If both FortiMails are using the same clientowner field in NFS EXCHANGE_ID operation, it is possible to configure both FortiMails to use different co_ownerid.

Solution
1) Both FortiMails (Primary and Secondary) are using the same hostname 'mx'.

2) From the pcap file, it is possible to see that both FortiMails are using the same clientowner field in NFS EXCHANGE_ID operation.

3) Change the hostname of FortiMail. In this case, the hostname of Primary FortiMail will be changed to 'mx1' and hostname of Secondary Fortimail to 'mx2'.

4) After changing the hostname of Primary and Secondary FortiMail, it is necessary to run the following command to make both FortiMails to use their new hostname as clientowner field in NFS EXCHANGE_ID operation.

# exe reload nasd
Note.
Schedule a maintenance Windows to run the command as it might interrupt the connectivity between the FortiMail and NAS server.

5) From the pcap file, it is possible to see the Primary and Secondary FortiMail are using their new hostname as clientowner field in NFS EXCHANGE_ID operation.
