Description This article explains the visibility of newly created account groups in the FortiGuest v1.3.0 or older firmware GUI and provides information on the fix
Scope FortiGuest v1.3.0 and earlier firmware
Solution

The Account Group allows both administrator and sponsor accounts to use both individual and shared network access policies. By default, all users and guest/sponsor accounts are placed in the 'Default User Group'. Additional user groups can be created as needed.

In FortiGuest v1.3.0 and earlier, it was possible to create more than 100 user groups. However, the information for the 101st account group would not appear in the list.

Additionally, filtering to display the newly created account group would fail to show the entry as shown below:

The issue was documented in internal R&D ticket #1107289 (which can be referenced in the release notes under Resolved Issues | FortiGuest 2.0.0 | Resolved Issues | FortiGuest 2.0.0 | Fortinet Document Library). It has since been resolved in the latest firmware version 2.0.0, where all created account groups are now visible.

If the issue mentioned above is observed on FortiGuest running v1.3.0 or earlier, consider upgrading to FortiGuest v2.0.0.

If the issue persists after the upgrade, collect the latest backup, support bundle logs, and file a ticket with TAC refer to: How to create a ticket for Fortinet TAC - Fortinet Community
