Description | This article describes a fix for FortiGate behavior where the Security Rating shows as 'failed' for interface classification, thus causing it to fail Unsecure Protocol Telnet and HTTP. |
Scope | FortiGate. |
Solution |
To resolve this issue, make sure that all interfaces that are configured are assigned a role such LAN, WAN, or DMZ.
Note: This will also count the SSL-VPN interface on the FortiGate as well, as the SSL-VPN interface will not be visible on the GUI. This can be done through the CLI:
config system interface edit ssl.root set role LAN end
Run the report again for a security rating check.
