Description |
This article describes an issue where the Interface Bandwidth widget for SD-WAN Member Interfaces on FortiGate G series devices shows incorrect incoming and outgoing bandwidth counts. The actual traffic does not match the numbers displayed in the widget, leading to discrepancies in bandwidth monitoring. |
Scope |
FortiGate v7.0.15, v7.2.9, v7.4.5. |
Solution |
On FortiGate G series devices with multiple WAN interfaces in SD-WAN, the Interface Bandwidth widget fails to display accurate bandwidth usage information. While the traffic flowing through the interfaces appears normal and the network is functioning properly, the incoming and outgoing bandwidth values in the widget do not reflect the actual usage.
This can lead to confusion, as the displayed numbers may be higher or lower or sometimes 0 kbps.
This issue is currently under investigation by the development team. The article will be updated with the latest information once a fix is available.
Logs required by FortiGate TAC for investigation.
Run the below debug command in CLI and open the interface bandwidth widget:
