Technical Tip: How to resolve FortiSwitch communication with radius server in port based 802.1x authentication

Description	This article describes how to resolve FortiSwitch communication with a RADIUS server in port-based 802.1x authentication.
Scope	All versions.
Solution	Configure port-based 802.1x authentication as shown in the article: Setting up port-based 802.1x authentication in a FortiLink setup. FortiLink is using the default IP network on the interface i.e 169.254.1.1/24. As the default IP address network belongs to APIPA it would not be able to communicate to any other network, so to address this use an IP network other than APIPA.
