Description |
This article describes the issue when the HA Failover logid 35016 is not logged. |
Scope | FortiGate. |
Solution |
Background info: The logid 35016 means HA failover success; However, this logID can`t be detected in failover logs.
If the case is that the standby unit fails, it is possible to see logs like 'X is selected as the cluster primary'.
On the other hand, if it is the case that the standby unit fails, it is also possible to see log id: 0108037893 'Virtual cluster member dead' in the System Event log, which failover will not generate.
The LOG_ID_HA_FAILOVER_SUCCESS(log id:35016) is implemented for a specific case and is not a log for a general HA failover event, hence it is never been seen in FortiGate or FortiAnalyser log. |
