Description

 

This article describes the procedure to resolve the issue of routes not being imported from GCP to FortiGate for CIDR networks.

 

Scope

 

FortiGate v7, v7.2, v7.4.

 

Solution

 

  1. After configuring DHCP on the FortiGate interface, no routes are installed on the FortiGate.

  1. FortiGate can import CIDR routes successfully. It is necessary to enable 'dhcp classles routes' on the FortiGate interface.

  1. Disable and enable the interface with the issues and verify the routes learned. To create a Routing Monitor Widget go under Dashboard -> Add Monitor + -> Routing.

To Verify the routes, go under Dashboard -> Routing Monitor, and the routes learned by DHCP on the interface are visible.
