Technical Tip: Disable 'Migrate Config with FortiConverter' in FortiGate Setup

Description

This article describes how to disable 'Migrate Config with FortiConverter' in FortiGate Setup.
Scope FortiOS 7.4.0 and above.
Solution

During the 'Migrate Config with FortiConverter' setup, one usually has the option to toggle the 'Don't show again' switch for not being asked after every login:

In some cases, it might happen that the option is not showing up and one must always skip the step via 'Later':

To disable the step, enter the following commands via CLI:

 

diag sys forticonverter set-prompt-visibility


Visible: Show the FortiConverter wizard on login.
Hidden: Hide the FortiConverter wizard on login.
