Technical Tip: How to provide permission to view details from the CLI

Description	This article describes how to check or troubleshoot permission issues when users try to obtain information from the CLI.
Scope	FortiAnalyzer.
Solution	In most cases, the user will be allowed to log in to the CLI via SSH, however, permission to view the information in the CLI will not be given. login as: User1 Password: FAZ $ get system status No permission to 'get system.status' Log in to the FortiAnalyzer GUI using a Super_User account and verify if the read-only/read-write property is selected in the System Setting in the user's admin profile. Once the profile has been edited, re-login using the correct account via SSH and verify again: login as: User1 Password: FAZ $ get system status Platform Type : FAZVM64-KVM Platform Full Name : FortiAnalyzer-VM64-KVM Version : v7.2.5-build1574 240313 (GA)
