Dear all hello,

i have an old Fortigate 40C and i just bought a Fortigate 40F. I want to backup the configuration from the old one and restore it to the new one because thera are too many custom configurations.

Can i do that and how?

Hi @Bill_GR,

It appears that you would have to build the configuration manually because of the difference in FortiOS supported by each device and also difference in hardware used.

FGT40F supports 6.2.x version

FGT40C supports 5.x.x version
