.NET Framework error while on VPN

Hello,

When opening a program I used to substract SQL-data from a database we use, I get following .NET Framework error: "an unhandled exception has occurred in your application" with the notification 'time out expired'

I only get this problem while using the FortiClient VPN when working from home. My colleagues don't have this problem and this problem doesn't occur when I'm at work (and don't use a VPN).

I use Windows 7 Pro and use FortiClient version 6.0.9.0277. In attachment you can find more details about the error.
