IPsec DPD failed

Hi, I recently set up email alerting for our fortigates. We keep getting the following error message coming through. I just wondered if anyone has any inkling to it or has come across it before and could point me in the right direction. The error message is attached.

    It means just that the  DPD failure threshold where meet. What do you have on the other side? Are you seeing packet lost between ipsec-gw? and do you see a pattern ( traffic or time of day )  when the DPD failures come up ?

    Hi Ken,

     

    Thank you for the reply! This is just a connection from the Fortinet VPN Client from one of our users. I have not heard from them regarding any problems. However, we are getting a lot of these notifications.
