Device Self-Enrollment

Hello, We are deploying a WiFi solution with Fortigate and FortiAuthenticator. We will use the device self-enrollment feature and we are not sure about the "Max. device" setting within Device Self-Enrollment configuration. Does anyone know what this feature is?   We want to limit end users to connect only one mobile device to the WiFi network. Does the "max device" feature prevent this?   Thank you!

    Hi,

let me google it .. Device self-enrollment

    page 93  https://docs.fortinet.com...fac-admin-guide-54.pdf

A: "Maximum devices - Set the maximum number of devices that a user can self-enroll."

    In short: Yes.

Hi Tomas, thank you for your replay.

I have already checked the documentation but I have tried installing the same certificate on two different smartphone and I was connected on both of them at same time, having the Maximum Devices parameter with "1", so the filter or limit did not work. Any suggestion?

    Thank you!!

    Hi,

interesting, so it might be broken. I might be able to test it next week and report if reproducible.

Or, you can test, make it reproducible, describe results and reproduction to the technical ticket opened towards Fortinet TAC and they will retest/confirm and then report to engineering as a bug.
