Custom reporting on Configuration changes

We are running 6.4.6 code.  and I need to set up a Custom Report that will run a script that checks to make sure that specific parts of the Configuration on each of the Fortigates is present. or have a script that runs and have a report that shows the status of the Script?    Don't know what is possible on this. thanks for any advise.
