FWF40C running 5.0.1. Webfilter is configured on my outbound policy and
is working as it does block " blocked" web pages. If I do a search with
Google or Bing I' m able to turn safe search off thru the browser, IE 9
or Firefox 18. It will show regula...
I tried with the help of tech support to accomplish this and couldn't
get it to work. I'm not doing load balancing, just redirect. DW_FTNT can
you explain further? The guide suggests setting to http not TCP. Further
I don't understand the rest of you...
Do you have a cable modem you're plugging into? They have their own MAC
cache and you have to power them down for at least a minute in order to
clear that so it'll talk to the Fortinet. IF you're using static IP that
is, and maybe dynamic, depending.
I may be experiencing something similar, are the SSID' s bridged or
tunneled? I see a huge difference in speed on my bridged SSID and the
tunneled one is 1/10th the speed with similar ping response issues.
Ok, after further testing, it is enabled by default but it seems there'
s a bug in FAP firmware 039 (at least on my 221B' s) that if your roam
the network routes get screwy and don' t pass traffic? Something like
that... I rolled back to 032 and roam...
