Hi, Our FortiWLC 50D died on us and I am trying to see if I can rescue
our little wifi network with a Fortigate VM. We only have 5 FortiAP
access points. The evaluation license claims that the only limitations
are:Support for low encryption operation...
not that many users total, so i think the AC wave 2 should work just
fine. according to the reseller there was no way of using the VM in a
cost efficient way vs the 40F. So a new 40F has been ordered and the 40F
does not support the 822 anyway.
We got two FortiAP U431F, two U231F and one AP822. we only use fortigate
for the wifi, so question is if there is a cost effective way of
managing these five APs. it looks like it's leaning the way of getting a
FortiGate 40F, I will contact our local...
