Description This article describes how restoring with 'All Case Configuration' works on FortiTester.
Scope FortiTester v7.4.4.
Solution
  1. Log in as user 'radmin' (admin role). Navigate to Performance Testing -> HTTP -> CPS. User 'radmin' has 2 'HTTP CPS' testcases.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Reset / Backup / Restore -> Backup. User 'radmin' makes a backup for 'All Case Configuration' as 'backup1'.

  1. Navigate to Performance Testing -> HTTP -> CPS. 'radmin' deleted all the existing 'HTTP CPS' testcases and created a new 'HTTP CPS' testcase.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Reset / Backup / Restore -> Restore. Restore with the 'backup1', just restore deleted testcases, 'radmin' has all created (three) 'HTTP CPS' testcases.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Administrators. After that, (default) admin user deletes the user 'radmin'.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Reset / Backup / Restore -> Backup. Admin user makes a backup for 'All Case Configuration' as 'backup2'.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Administrators. Admin user adds a user 'radmin' again. The new 'radmin' does not have any (HTTP CPS) testcases.

  1. Navigate to System Settings -> System -> Reset / Backup / Restore -> Restore. Restore with 'backup2' makes no change for (new) 'radmin' testcase.

  1. Restore with 'backup1' will restore two (HTTP CPS) test cases from (old) 'radmin' for the (new) 'radmin'.
