Hi guys,
I had an interruption while upgrading one of the workers from 7.1.7 to 7.2.0 and the full upgrade did not happen, but when I ran the upgrade command again, I got the message "The current version of RPM installed is 7.2.0.0237 and you are trying to upgrade to 7.2.0.0237 . Please upgrade to a higher version." I get the response, when I check it from the GUI, it still shows 7.1.7. What should I do in this case?
Hi @adem_netsys,
You should collect the advised logs, rollback your snapshot and talk to the TAC. In that state, you cannot roll backwards or forwards the update in an ordinary state (there are ways, but it might cause more harm then help).
If you like to retry without TAC, read the last lines where the update stopped.
Usually, an upgrade fails because of a problematic state of the cluster before the update, a wrong order or missing internet connection.
I am sorry, there is no better solution.
Best,
Christian
