Description This article describes how to disable alarms that are no longer necessary after migrating to FortiNAC-F.

These alarms can safely be ignored as they are 'False Positives'. This is due to how upgrades were managed on previous FortiNAC appliance platforms. FortiNAC-F appliance operating system updates are now included in version updates. If the appliance was migrated, there is a hold over scheduler activity for Operating System Update Status.
Scope FortiNAC-F.
Solution In order to prevent these false positive alarms simply follow these steps from the Admin GUI:

  1. Browse to Settings -> Scheduler.
  2. Select the Operating System Update Status Activity.
  3. Select the 'disable' icon above the activity field.
