Description This article describes how to connect Jamf Pro with the new authentication method.
Scope FortiNAC-F -7.2.7, 7.4.1,7.6.0 , FortiNAC Centos 9.4.7.
Solution

This article refers to the changes made by JAMF where Support for Bearer Token Authentication in Jamf Pro 11.5x and where Basic authentication in the Classic API has been removed.

 

  1. To fix the issue upgrade to versions 7.2.7, 7.4.1,7.6.0, and FortiNAC Centos 9.4.7.
  2. Once upgraded, enter the Jamf URL and make sure there is no '/' at the end.
  3. For the username enter the client ID and for the password enter the client's password follow the jamf link for more details.
  4. Once completed, test the connection by 'right-clicking' the connector.
  5. If the issue persists, enable the debugs and attach the logs as in the following article: Troubleshooting Tip: Failed to Read JAMF Info.
