DescriptionThis KB article describes, how to configure a FortiManager unit to schedule a script, which is run towards a FortiGate unit. This would allow a scheduled activity to be performed regularly from a FortiManager unit.

Solution1. On the FortiManager unit:
System Settings > Admin > Admin Setting > click on "Show Script" box:

2. Go on "Device Manager"tab, now the tree menu will display a new line as per below:

3. Open a CLI window on FortiManager and run:
FMG # config system admin setting
(setting)# set show_schedule_script enable --> It can be enabled only via CLI
4. Under Device Manager > Script > Create New :

5. Go on the Script just created. Click on it one time in order to high light the line as below:
6. Right Click on the just highlighted line :

7. Click on "Run" :

The box "Enable Schedule" as been added after the command set show_schedule_script was enabled via the CLI.
