Solution	While upgrading to a newer version, check the following information below: Check the upgrade matrix: FortiClient EMS upgrade path matrix. Check the compatibility matrix for the FortiClient versions that might be unavailable to connect to the EMS server: EMS compatibility chart. Make sure that Windows Firewall has been disabled on the EMS Server. Make sure that there is no third-party security product has been installed on the EMS Server. Make sure that Windows Server is up to date. Ensure to run the installer package with the same user that has installed the EMS Server on the server in the first place. Ensure to run the installer package with administrator rights.
