Technical Tip: How to generate data sampling report

Description
This article describes how to generate data sampling report in FortiAnalyzer .

Applicable to FortiManager with FortiAnalyzer feature enable.

Scope
For version 6.4.3 and above.

Solution
1) Create Report:

2) Add Chart library .
Predefine chart library: Interface Timeline by Data Sampling.

3) Login to FortiAnalyzer from CLI and configure following.

From FortiAnalyzer CLI:

# config system log interface-stats
    set billing-report enable
    set status enable
end

It is possible to use following command to check more available option under FortiAnalyzer interface-stats.

# get sys log interface-stats

Note.

Before running this report, billing must be enabled for 24 hours or longer.

4) Run report then report will show similar data.
