Has anyone had issues with Forticlient 6.0.1?

Currently our firewall is running 5.6.4 and most of the users are with this major release of Forticlient. The IPsec profile is default with the exception of using localid. It is working without issues on FC 5.6

Now the default downloader from Fortinet installs FC 6.0.1. I use the same configuration entered manually, not by import, and the VPN is not working. Debug log shows Phase1 timing out.
