What is the use of " set external enable" ?
Hello everybody.
As I was having some spare-time, I did a " get" while configuring an interface and among other parameters, I found one like this:
FWF60C (wan1) # set external
disable clear external indicator
enable set interface as external
Does anybody know, what this parameter should be for?
Thanks and regards,
F.

from the CLI manual:
" Enable to indicate that an interface is an external interface
connected to an external network. This option is used for SIP
NAT when the config VoIP profile SIP contact-fixup
option is disabled."

10 years later, and this is about the only reference to this command on the internet!
