Virtual Clustering Vdom traffic processing

Could you please provide a document or some information related to the following:
How does the HA traffic works when we have deploy the firewall cluster in Active/Standby mode with load balancing using Virtualized clustering in multi VDOM Environment.
For Example ::
Virtual Cluster 1
VDOMA , VDOM B , VDOM C, root
Virtual Cluster 2
VDOM D ,VDOM E , VDOM F
As the IP address is going to be the same , on what basis the traffic load balancing would take place.

Traffic will be load balanced by virtue of which VDOM you attach to each virtual cluster. So in your example all traffic for VDOM D, E and F would be processed by VC2 and the others on VC1. It does not matter what IP addressing you use. It's VDOM-specific.

Thank you for the response gfleming.
All traffic to and from a given VDOM is sent to one of the FortiGates where it stays within its VDOM and is only processed by that VDOM

The above statement is understood
