New 200B Cluster - Memory Load? 4.2.6?

Hi, we will upgrade our old 400A cluster to a new 200B cluster this weekend. The 200B has been running fine for about fourweeks on 4.2.4, but without any real load. I' m a little concerned by the memory usage: Is this normal? Should I expect bad results with my 4k to 8k sessions? The 400A is always at 47%. Besides that, should I upgrade to 4.2.6? I have not seen much discussion about it here, so any feedback is appreciated. Thanks! stephan Edit: I overlooked this thread. Doesn' t look to bad. Any other input?

If this box didn' t have any traffic, than this is normal! A production 200B will be at around 40% very fast... and then up depending your use of AV/IPS and so on.. I' d go for 4.2.6, there are a couple of fixes since 4.2.4 ... especially TCP Split Handshaking! 4-8K sessions will be handled very easily on a 200B! best regards, Roman

4.2.6 also comes with IPS engine 229. That reduces the load quite a bit.
